The apparent ignorance of these white people speaking is a disgrace to MY Caucasian race. The arguments that you make are delusional beyond belief. I'm curious as to why such haters are reading a GLBT website. Hmm... Unifying for inclusion of all people is not anti-white language. It is merely a recognition that not all people are treated with the same dignity and respect that any human being should be afforded. To twist the author's written word and to make it into something it doesn't even seem to be is truly misguided and hellacious. I pity you. May God give you the same that you wish to other less fortunate people to which we should watch over and not put down. Peace.

I am an African American who feels that the author is actually soft on the problems that people of color face. I would've added even more to this piece and think that the author could've slammed white attitudes like yours. of course you don't get it. Are you black? Has your dad, brother or husband are ever stopped just because. If you're republican, most likely, you're anti gay and just about anti anything that is not white. So, of course you compare this to child's play because it doesn't mean a thing to you. You are just another white person who has it all. And, if you're really aware of the stats of trans black people or Mexican, you wouldn't have used such example in your narrow minded comment. If you had educated the white community, as you state, to accept the glbt community you would write with respect and in an educated manner. Your post assaults us more, with each word you type. You don't love us, you never have. You put up with us and pretend you care. Having people like you by my side makes me feel sick to my stomach. Why don't you all go back to Ireland or whatever place you came from?

What a weirdo and sick bigot! You must be a member of a White Supremacist group. Making white people assimilate to other groups?? Are you on crack? All we ask of other non-white people is to assimilate to our ways. This is sickening to even read. I hope someone flags your post. You make us, white people, sound pathetic. I'm not pathetic for loving people for who they are. I'm pro-people, all people. I can't believe there are people like you out there. The writer is right to point out that you must be educated or have lived a life of oppression to go beyond the vitriol of your post. I bet you Karl is not even your real name. But, that's what cowards do online. Me, you can check me out. I am for real and I treat all people right. To claim we'd be better without diversity is absurd and negligent. I always know there are bigots, I just don't expect them to visit a GLBT site. Oh, but maybe you are GLBT and closeted. That would explain it. I am pro a unifying America and I'm not afraid of other races because they can only be a threat in the minds of cowards.

How can we demand one set of assumptions be removed when the author of this article alienates an entire political sector within the first few sentences of the article? This is written with the intent of blaming a problem within a community on those outside of that community.

"The Right" is now an incorporation of anyone who does not have a parade to be at or another nations flag to stand under and exists to scare people into polarizing into a false either or situation. There is a case of black and white washing going on here.

"you don't get it" - we absolutely get it. You don't get it is the last refuge of a child who cannot verbalize. You don't get it is the last resort of a man proving god. You don't get it are the words of emotion ground between the teeth of fact and logic.

You don't get it goes only as far as beliefs. When it comes time to ante up you don't get it is a fail.

I can't get up in the morning and love you for you, and I wont be getting up loving myself less because I don't fall into a group that gets as many victim points as another and because I have the communication skills to elucidate my points without tantrum talk - a la you don't get it.

We have educated the white community to accept g/l/b/t's as just another minority group. When it comes time for those minorities to reeducate their own populations, the demographics that have already accepted that 'they don't get it' aren't the problem.

When peacocking for who has it the worst (and seriously doesn't this sound like a bunch of six year olds playing barbies competing for whose doll gets to be sick and have the others bring her presents?) then we've already rinsed the white off the page. Put a Mexican TG and a Black Drag Queen in the same room and it's not gonna be pretty for long. It doesn't take a white man for that to play out - unless they both want to hook up with him.

Everybody says there is this RACE problem. Everybody says this RACE problem will be solved when the third world pours into EVERY White country and ONLY into White countries.
The Netherlands and Belgium are just as crowded as Japan or Taiwan, but nobody says Japan or Taiwan will solve this RACE problem by bringing in millions of third worlders and quote assimilating unquote with them.
And everybody says the final solution to this RACE problem is for EVERY White country and ONLY White countries to “assimilate,” i.e., intermarry, with all those non-Whites.
What if I said there was this RACE problem and this RACE problem would be solved only if hundreds of millions of non-blacks were brought into EVERY black country and ONLY into black countries?
How long would it take anyone to realize I am not talking about a RACE problem. I am talking about the final solution to the BLACK problem?
And how long would it take any sane black man to notice this and what kind of psycho black man wouldn’t object to this??
But if I tell that obvious truth about the ongoing program of genocide against my race, the White race, Liberals and respectable conservatives agree that I am a naziwhowantstokillsixmillionjews.
They say they are anti-racist. What they are is anti-White.
Anti-racist is a code word for anti-White.

Well written article. Although I am not a member of a “marginalized group” as you call it, I do recognize the divide in the LGBTQA community when it comes to race. My inner circle and I have debated this topic plenty and many of them also “don’t get it,” not because they are bigots or racist, but simply because they have never been discriminated against for the color of their skin. You can’t understand what you haven’t lived unless you surround yourself by others who are different than you and walk a mile in their shoes. Listening, reading or discussing these uncomfortable topics is one of the ways to better understand our vast differences. Thank you.
