BREAKING: MA Legislature Sends Homeless Youth Bill to Gov. Patrick’s Desk

BOSTON, Mass.In an incredible victory for homeless youth across Massachusetts, the state legislature sent House Bill 4517which instructs the Executive Office of Health and Human Services to establish programs that provide a continuum of housing and services for unaccompanied homeless youthto Governor Patrick’s desk.

MassEquality Executive Director KC Coredini offered the following response to the legislation:

“Many thanks to our allies in both the House and Senate and our partners at the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless for supporting a vital piece of legislation that will go a long way in addressing the homeless youth epidemic in the Commonwealth.
