The promo for Bruce Jenner’s two-hour interview with Diane Sawyer, premiering Friday, has been released.
In the 15-second clip, the former Olympian says, “My whole life has been getting me ready for this.”
A voice-over follows saying, “Bruce Jenner, the interview: the journey, the decisions, the future, the Diane Sawyer exclusive.”
Many believe Jenner will be announcing his transition from man to woman, though he nor his family have yet to confirm.
In 2013 Jenner underwent a laryngeal shave to flatten his Adam’s Apple, which first sparked the speculation.
“I guess I’ll kind of let everyone be curious and I feel like that’s his journey to talk about,” Kim Kardashian-West said of her step-dad last week on Entertainment Tonight. “I will say that I think Bruce should tell his story his way. I think everyone goes through things in life and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he’ll share whenever the time is right.”
The Associated Press spoke with his mother Esther Jenner, 88, who said she is proud of her son.
“He said, ‘I want to be honest about my identity and I know this is coming out in the press.’ He started by saying, ‘We need to have a long, serious talk,’” she said. “I am at peace with what he is and what he’s doing.”
