This is Caitlyn. Gorgeous. Out. Fresh. Radiant. Courageous.

“Caitlyn doesn’t have any secrets. As soon as the Vanity Fair cover comes out, I am free,” said Caitlyn Jenner through a special behind-the-scenes video of Annie Leibovitz’s photo shoot.

This is the “outside” that Caitlyn always saw within. At 65 (is she really 65?), she is free and finally able to liberate her soul to soar as the beautiful woman she has always been. Caitlyn, prior to her transition told the world (via an exclusive 20/20 Interview with Diane Sawyer), that “for all intent and purposes I am a woman!” Jenner also told her during the interview that “she” “had been thinking about this day forever. …” Now, meet the present: Caitlyn Jenner.

Some mainstream media reports sound as if they were shocked by her looks or “transformation” as they are calling it. In all actuality, Caitlyn was constantly emerging right before our eyes. Struggling for so many years, in the dark trying to live life as she could, but hiding until she felt ready and safe to face the world, Caitlyn waited—sometimes the wait seeming too slow.

“I am so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self,” she said via her super active Twitter page. “Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can’t wait for you to get to know her/me.”

According to Vanity Fair, living her life fully, wholly is all Caitlyn wanted.

She told the magazine: “If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life.’”

According to Advocate.com “Leibovitz’s portraits of Jenner were taken in her Malibu home. To view them, and read the accompanying story, a paid subscription to the magazine is required.” Read an excerpt of Vanity Fair‘s exclusive report on Caitlyn here!

Caitlyn, a public figure already, has a strong social media following (over 1.02M followers in Twitter in just a few hours). Some of the reactions from lay people and celebrities show how the world supports her. And Twitter has gone crazy with their responses, especially from her family.

Happy birthday, Caitlyn! The world needed this.
