fenwayhealthThe Transgender Health Program at Fenway Health continues to grow, constantly adding new resources for transgender and gender non-conforming people. One critical component of transgender health is having access to safe, supportive, and affirming spaces. In this spirit, Fenway has announced the formation of a new transgender support group coming this spring.

Starting on March 1, Fenway Health will host a support group for transgender individuals on the first Tuesday night of each month. The group will meet from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at 1340 Boylston Street building in 9th Floor Conference Room 1. These groups will be facilitated by Cei Lambert, Transgender Health Patient Advocate, who identifies as a transgender man; and Sloane Glover, Transgender Health Navigator, who identifies as a transgender woman. Fenway staff will facilitate conversation, as well as provide information about transgender resources.

Please note that participation in these support groups is not based on having a mental health diagnosis, and health insurance will not be billed. No formal therapy will be provided during these meetings. These meetings are designed to be opportunities for socialization and community connection.

The group is open to all ages, gender identities, and gender expressions.
