Gay Couple Throws Fundraiser for Transgender Employee’s Breasts

transSAN FRANCISCO, CA — Gay couple Will Lenker and James Spinello are no strangers to throwing a fabulous party.  This time, however, the owners of Stuff www.stuffsf.com, a well known vintage modern collective in the mission district of San Francisco, are hosting a bash for a great cause, breasts. Lenker and Spinello are on a quest to help their employee Breanna Sinclaire, a transgender in the process of transition, raise money for breast implants.

“Breanna is an amazing and inspirational woman on the inside and out and we want to help her feel as beautiful in her body as she is to us and the world,” says Lenker.  [pullquote]Lenker and Spinello are on a quest to help their employee Breanna Sinclaire, a transgender in the process of transition, raise money for breast implants.[/pullquote]

Breanna is an esteemed opera singer and a graduate of the regarded Baltimore School for the Arts where she earned her B.F.A. at the Herb Alpert School of Music at California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, California.  She has performed in engagements such as Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortileges, Rameau’s Platee, Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess, and Bernstein’s West Side Story. Ms. Sinclaire is currently pursuing her M.M. at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, the first ever offered to a transgendered individual by the school, in the studio of Ruby Pleasure, where she plans on completing her Postgraduate Diploma in preparation for a career launch in Europe. She was most recently seen performing as Carmen in “Melons! Coupons!” from Carmen, and as Furie in Cavalli’s La Calisto, on the opera stage at the Conservatory.

Lenker and Spinello are hosting a fundraiser on Saturday June 22 from 7-11:30 p.m. at Stuff, 150 Valencia Street, San Francisco. Tickets are currently on sale until the event and can be purchased at Stuff for $25.00. Anything going above their target of $8400.00 will be donated to other transgendered causes.  States Spinello, “This is a labor of love for us and our friend who has already faced so many challenges in life.  If we, and others, can help her in her transition, there is no one more deserving.  Breanna is a truly beautiful soul.”
