SALEM, Mass.—Governor’s Councillor Eileen Duff will be hosting an event to celebrate Pride Month on Wednesday, June 19th.
Pride with Eileen will be held at Casa Tequila, located at 300 Derby Street in Salem, from 6-8 p.m. The event is an opportunity for Eileen to meet with allies and members of the North Shore LGBTQ+ community while celebrating their collective and continued progress towards equality.

When elected in November of 2012, Eileen was the highest-ranking openly LGBTQ+ official in Massachusetts in office. As one of the eight Governor’s Councillors, she has worked tirelessly as a champion for the LGBTQ+ community. She continuously fights to protect the rights of gay and lesbian youths and advocating for greater inclusion of transgender individuals in the judicial system. Eileen plans to continue being part of the solution to issues faced by the LGBTQ+ community, through responsible, progressive leadership.
