3rd Annual Festival of Food: Showcases Cape Cod’s Hottest Restaurants & QuickFire Challenge

BOSTON, Mass — MassEquality announced yesterday that the Third Annual Taste of Provincetown will take place Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 6pm at Provincetown Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street. Attendees will enjoy gourmet hors d’oeuvres, les amuse-bouches, and fine wines and cocktails contributed by some of Cape Cod’s most highly-rated restaurants and celebrity chefs.

Sweet Cheeks chef-owner Tiffani Faison will headline the event by hosting the second annual QuickFire Challenge. “I’m thrilled to be participating again in MassEquality’s Taste of Provincetown,” said Faison, who was one of two finalists on the first season of Bravo’s Top Chef and was the winner of Bravo’s 2007 Top Chef Holiday Special. “This event combines my passion for good food and fun with my commitment to equality.”

“Taste of Provincetown is a great night out on the Cape and supports the critical work that MassEquality does to ensure that lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people in Massachusetts are protected from cradle to grave,” said MassEquality Executive Director Kara Suffredini, Esq.

Top-rated chefs from area restaurants will provide delectable culinary creations and wines for The Taste of Provincetown. Participating restaurants include Victor’s, Central House at the Crown, Saki, Bayside Betsy’s, The Waterford Inn, Café, & Tavern, Jimmy’s Hideaway, Far Land Provisions, Patio American Grill & Cocktail Bar, Relish, Ptown Scoop, Ptown Parties, Ten Tables, The Lobster Pot, Sage Inn & Lounge, Angel Foods, Bistro at Crowne Pointe, ScottCakes, Dalla Cucina, Castaways, Batata, Waydowntown, Karoo Kafé, The Nut House, Frappo66, Chach, and Devon’s.
