Fenway has announced its 2017 Congressman Gerry E. Studds Award Honorees: Tim O’Connor and John Michael Gray – known throughout the community as the The Hat Sisters!

Decked out in huge, bright hats and smiles to match, The Sisters brought a sense of playfulness and vibrancy everywhere they went, and have been tireless supporters of Fenway Health and the entire Boston LGBT community. Fixtures at fundraisers, their years of philanthropy have been truly extraordinary.

It is in this spirit that Fenway Health is presenting the Studds Award to Tim O’Connor and honor John Michael Gray’s memory.

Over 1,300 gay and bisexual men, transgender people, and allies will fill the Boston Marriott Copley Place for an evening of fundraising, all in support of the lifesaving work of Fenway Health. The Fenway Health Men’s Event is one of New England’s largest LGBT-focused charitable events. Attendees will enjoy a gourmet dinner, groove to fabulous entertainment, and bid on unique auction items—all while supporting the lifesaving work of Fenway Health.

The Men’s Event will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at the Boston Marriott Copley Place from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. All Men’s Event tables seat 12 people. Tickets to this year’s Men’s Event are $275 each and tables cost $3,300. If you wish to purchase tickets to attend The Men’s Event and do not have a Table Captain, you can select a mix and mingle table or seat me anywhere.
