Boston Police Alert for the LGBT Community

bpoliceBoston, Mass.—Boston Police have issued an LGBT alert regarding an ongoing investigation of robberies in the area. It is believed that one more or more assailants are targeting their victims while at a local bar, in person or online. Once the assailant is invited into the victims home, allegedly, the victim is drugged and wakes up after being robbed. At this moment, there are no reports of any assaults.

The Police urge the LGBT community to be particularly cautious about these types of encounters as Pride Season kicks off this week. If you have already been a victim to this type of crime, the police urge you to come forward by contacting 911.
