Devereux Foster Care seeks LGBT parents, holds open house on Feb. 11

PITTSFIELD, Mass.— Devereux Therapeutic Foster Care recruitment staff are holding an open house at their Pittsfield office located on 395 North Street between 10 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on February 11.

Devereux staff will be on hand to answer any questions about the agency and foster care experience.

“If you have ever considered becoming a foster parent, there is no better time than right now,” said Richard Wright, Devereux Foster Care Program Recruiter. “If you are interested in opening your home to a child in need, please join us to learn about the process to become a foster parent and/or a respite provider.”

Devereux is currently expanding its Therapeutic Foster Care service throughout the Pittsfield, Mass. area.

“We would like to meet individuals that have an interest in helping children by providing them with a stable home environment in order for them to grow emotionally and develop positive social skills,” Wright said.

For more information about fostering, please contact Janet Knapp or Richard Wright at 413-734-2493 or 413-464-7831 or visit their website at www.devereux.org.
